Y 6 MAES DYSGU A PHROFIAD ~ THE 6 AREAS OF LEARNING AND EXPERIENCE

Bydd y Cwricwlwm Newydd i Gymru yn cwmpasu y Meysydd Dysgu a Phrofiad canlynol;

• - Y Celfyddydau Mynegiannol
• - Iaith, Llythrennedd a Chyfathrebu
• - Mathemateg a Rhifedd
• - Y Dyniadaethau
• - Iechyd a Lles
• - Gwyddoniaeth a Thechnoleg

The New Curriculum for Wales will consist of these 6 areas of learning and experience;

• -The Expressive Arts
• -Languages, Literacy and Communication
• -Maths and Numeracy
• -Humanities
• -Health and Wellbeing
• -Science and Technology

Y 4 DIBEN ~ THE 4 PURPOSES

Bydd y 4 Diben wrth wraidd ein cwricwlwm newydd. Nhw fydd man cychwyn pob penderfyniad ar y cynnwys a'r profiadau a ddatblygir fel rhan o'r cwricwlwm i gefnogi ein plant a'n pobl ifanc i fod yn:

- dysgwyr uchelgeisiol, galluog sy'n barod i ddysgu trwy gydol eu bywydau
- cyfranwyr mentrus, creadigol, yn barod i chwarae rhan lawn mewn bywyd a gwaith
- dinasyddion moesegol, gwybodus Cymru a'r byd
- unigolion iach, hyderus, yn barod i fyw bywydau boddhaus fel aelodau gwerthfawr o'r gymdeithas.

The 4 purposes will be at the heart of our new curriculum. They will be the starting point for all decisions on the content and experiences developed as part of the curriculum to support our children and young people to be:

-ambitious, capable learners ready to learn throughout their lives
-enterprising, creative contributors, ready to play a full part in life and work
-ethical, informed citizens of Wales and the world
-healthy, confident individuals, ready to lead fulfilling lives as valued members of society.

YN YCHWANEGOL ~ IN ADDITION

-Byddwyn yn dilyn 3 cyfrifoldeb traws-gwricwlwm: llythrennedd, rhifedd a chymhwysedd digidol

- Asesir pwyntiau cyfeirio dilyniant yn 5, 8, 11, 14 ac 16 oed

-Mesurir canlyniadau cyflawniad sy'n disgrifio cyflawniadau disgwyliedig ym mhob pwynt cyfeirio dilyniant.

- We will aim to meet 3 cross curriculum responsibilities: literacy, numeracy and digital competence

- progression reference points will be asessed at ages 5, 8, 11, 14 and 16

-achievement outcomes which describe expected achievements at each progression reference point will be measured.
